Get Your Telegram Bot Token

Open Telegram and chat with @BotFather. Send /newbot and follow the instructions to create your bot and get the token.

Get Your Gemini API Key

Visit Google AI Studio and create a free API key. This will be used to power your AI responses.

Configure Environment Variables

Add these variables in Vercel's project settings:

TELEGRAM_BOT_TOKEN - Your bot token from BotFather
GEMINI_API_KEY - Your Gemini API key
TELEGRAM_CHAT_ID - (Optional) Restrict to specific chat
SYSTEM_PROMPT - (Optional) Custom AI behavior

Set Webhook

After deployment, visit https://your-domain.vercel.app/api/setup-webhook to automatically configure the webhook. You'll see a success message when it's done.

Start Chatting!

Open your bot in Telegram and send a message. Your AI assistant powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash will respond instantly.
